We stay up to date on the latest data security for accounting practices, incorporating world-class advancements into our platform infrastructure to keep your firm and client data safe, secure, and private.
Client Hub prioritizes data security for accounting practices at every step. All information is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored on Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services, and monitored constantly. You can also enable MFA and keep data segmented by role-based permissions.
Our application is hosted and served through Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services. These platforms are certified under various ISO and SOC compliance standards as detailed here https://cloud.google.com/security/ and https://aws.amazon.com/security/ and host all data in US and Canada-based data centers.
User data is backed up daily to keep your information secure and accessible.
Team access to production data is strictly limited to only a handful of full-time Client Hub employees under a least privilege model. These individuals are only permitted to view data in specific, necessary situations related to development or customer support. Their access is always monitored.
Data security for accounting practices requires a multi-layered approach centered around identity, protection, and monitoring. File storage security protocols at Google Drive and Dropbox are adequate for many purposes, but not for bookkeeping and accounting firms. Instead, we partner with Google Cloud and AWS. These internationally trusted cloud hosts offer better protection of sensitive client data.
Client Hub safeguards your data and files in transit with industry standard encryption which can be verified with the lock icon in the browser bar. Files shared by users in Client Hub are also secured at rest with 256-bit encryption.
With Client Hub, you always retain ownership of your data.
Your data isn’t ours to sell, so we never do.
